The duty holder of any non-domestic premises is required by law under Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 to manage asbestos in the following ways:
As most duty holders will not be asbestos specialists it is necessary to commission surveys in order to identify asbestos and act on any recommendation to ensure employees, customers and the general public are protected from asbestos firbe exposure. In addition, employers have a duty to ensure those who are likely to come in contact with asbestos during their everyday work roles must be trained in Asbestos Awareness.
Here at Armco we offer various Asbestos Awareness Training, undertake Asbestos Surveys and sampling, provide consultancy and asbestos removal. Armco’s manager has over 15 years industry experience and can ensure your company receives the asbestos services needed to operate with the asbestos law. Please navigate this site for information on our training courses and contact the office on 0161 763 3727 for further information on all the services we provide.
