Do I need asbestos training?

If you are a Tradesmen or labourer that may come into contact with asbestos materials on a regular basis as part of your work, then you will most definitely need to have asbestos awareness training, and works with non licensed asbestos course.  You will also need to have asbestos refresher training on a yearly basis.

Your employer has a duty to arrange asbestos training for you and their other employees, as it is their legal responsibility to ensure that their workers receive the correct and appropriate training.
