Face fit testing is a method for checking that they are wearing a facepiece which matches the wearer’s facial features and seals adequately to the wearer’s face.  An inadequate fit will significantly reduce the protection provided to the wearer, even though the user is wearing a respirator correctly selected for the given application. The need for an employer to protect employees from the inhalation of hazardous substances, including asbestos fibres, is stated in The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) 2002.

Armco offers a first class face fitting service at a competitive price, either at your premises or here at our premises in Bury, Greater Manchester. Contact the Armco office on 0161 761 4424 for further information and a quote.
