We are celebrating in the Armco Office today after being awarded CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment)! What a year of achievement this has been for us as we were also awarded IS0 9001 accreditation back in August and have recently become an approved sub-contractor for Six Town Housing (Bury Councils arms length management organization).
CHAS is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognized and accepted threshold standard. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers. This accreditation illustrates compliance with important Health and Safety laws and practices, thus ensuring any work carried out by Armco is done within such regulations.
Our recent IS0 9001 award shows that we comply with an internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses, thus illustrating Armco’s commitment to quality, customers and a willingness to work towards improving efficiency. It is concerned with the processes that create and control the products/services an organisation supplies. We have also recently been approved as a sub-contractor for Bury Council’s Six Town Housing. This involved a lot of work regarding Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, certification, training and customer satisfaction. All this again illustrates the stringent processes Armco employs to ensure the services and implement at the highest standard possible.
The services we offer are consultancy and advice, sampling, surveys, various training and removals. Navigate this sight for further details or contact the office on 0161 763 3727.
