Roll up, roll up! As a Bury based company, we are offering all those business with a ‘BL’ postcode a reduced rate for mandatory Asbestos Awareness training.

Our three hour training course is designed to ensure that you comply with Section 10 of The Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012) which states that ‘every employer shall ensure that adequate information, instruction and training is given to those of his employees who are liable to be exposed to asbestos or who supervise such employees’.

The Asbestos Awareness training covers the following points:

• the history of asbestos;
• the properties of asbestos and its effects on health;
• the types, uses and likely occurrence of asbestos in buildings and plant;
• the general procedures to be followed to deal with an emergency.

Armco’s training sessions are held by fully qualified and time-served surveyors whom deliver the class as an oral presentation with power point slides and written material. The candidates are presented with a certificate and we can also provide yearly refresher training sessions.
