Employers are required, by The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, to ensure that all those whom carry out any works or installation on properties built before the year 2000 must receive adequate Asbestos Awareness training. Armco have scheduled their next Asbestos Awareness and Works with Non-Licensed Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) training session for Friday, 27th July 2012 at Bury Business Centre, Kay Street, Bury, BL9 6BU.
Our Asbestos Awareness training course educates workers on the history of asbestos, what is looks like and, when and how it was used in building. The attendee would be taught how it identify asbestos and the correct procedure to follow to deal with asbestos correctly. This ensures that they safeguard themselves, other workers, customers and the general public from the inhalation of asbestos fibres, which can potentially lead to life threatening respiratory disease.
The course is delivered as an oral presentation with power point slides and written material. The candidates are presented with a certificate we also provide yearly refresher training session. The training is provided by fully qualified, time served and friendly professionals using at a competitive price, only £55 per person plus VAT.
